Flourless Superfood Brownies
It’s almost impossible to guess the secret ingredient!
Supplies Needed:
Measuring cups & spoons
Food processor
Spatula
Small pot
8x8-inch baking dish
Ingredients:
1 (15 oz) can or box of unsalted, unseasoned black beans, drained & rinsed (BPA-free packaging recommended)
3 organic, free-range eggs
⅓ cup grass-fed, unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup cacao powder
2 tsp real vanilla extract
½ cup coconut sugar
¼ cup chia seeds, soaked (add ¼ cup water, stir, and let gel while prepping; add more water if it dries out)
½ cup 70% dark chocolate chips
Optional: ⅓ cup raw chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or cashews)
Avocado oil spray, for greasing the pan
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a food processor, blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips and optional nuts until very smooth.
Remove blade, gently fold in the chocolate chips (and nuts, if using).
Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool completely before removing from the pan.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve warm with a scoop of oat milk ice cream or a dollop of coconut whip for an extra indulgent, dairy-free treat!
